R. Alan Butler
Chief Financial Officer
Alan is a member of the executive management team and is integral in all strategic decisions made at Wexford. He is responsible for all financial aspects of the company with particular emphasis on the overall capitalization strategy and managing all of Wexford’s capital provider relationships.
Alan has spent 10 years as Treasurer of Allegis Group, Inc., a $4+ billion worldwide provider of temporary staffing and human capital management. At Allegis, he arranged and closed in excess of a $1 Billion of debt placements and syndicated facilities. He formulates and implements financing hedging strategies and manages all financial reporting and compliance activities as well as certain day to day administrative operations. He advises the company in all of its mergers and acquisitions opportunities and is involved in the execution of all such decisions.
Prior to joining Allegis Group, Alan held various credit and lending positions at Bank of America and predecessor banks from 1986-1996.
Mr. Butler graduated from University of Maryland, College Park, magna cum laude, with a BS in Finance and received his MBA from Loyola College, Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Butler has served on the board of various charitable organizations and currently serves on the Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America, Baltimore Area Council.
